WHAT I MUST DO
Change of temporary or permanent residence document

Must be arranged by every foreigner with temporary or permanent residence in Koněvova Street

The change is free of charge

You must appear in person to change the temporary or permanent residence document
Where?

Changes to residence documents are carried out by the offices of the Ministry of the Interior of the Czech Republic. Prague office (mvcr.cz).
When?

From 1 October 2023
WHAT I SHOULD DO
The city ward will inform selected institutions about the renaming of Koněvova Street and ask them to reflect the change with their clients. Nevertheless, we recommend that citizens inform these institutions about the change of the street name (e.g. electronically by e-mail, in online banking, etc.). These institutions are:

Health insurance companies

Insurance companies

Banks
-
Telephone operators
-
Energy suppliers
We also recommend that you notify the street name change to:

Your employer
-
Your school, if you are studying
-
Your physician and dentist (or other specialists)
WHAT I DON’T HAVE TO DO

Driver’s licence: No change needed, no address on the licence

Postal services: the Czech Post will continue to deliver mail with the original address. For SIPO payments, the change will be made automatically at the post office based on the population register

Tax bureau: will know about the change and automatically overwrite the address from the basic registers

Trade licensing office: will learn about the change and automatically overwrite the address from the basic registers. Details for entrepreneurs, self-employed persons and legal entities can be found in this section.

Labour office (benefit payments): will learn about the change and automatically overwrite the address from the basic registers

Cadastral office: will learn about the change and automatically overwrite the address from the basic registers

Public registers (commercial register, association register, foundation register, institutions register, register of beneficial owners, register of public benefit societies) They will overwrite the address automatically from the basic registers
